Sweet Sleepy Kisses (Goodnight) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Goodnight Kira my sweet beautiful dear,
it's been a long tiring day and I'm
pooped my sweet one,
come snuggle with me and go to sleep
and I'll give you sweet sleepy kisses
as you rest your head on my chest
and then we drift away to the land of dreams.
I'll see you there dear and hold you so near
as we lay on our soft bed under the stars.
Sweet sleepy kisses to you
and now my sweet dear come snuggle with me
and we'll drift off to sleep
with your head on my chest listening to
some new radio play podcasts I found today.
Sweet sleepy kisses to you my Angel so good.
Goodnight my sweet Kira and let's tightly cuddle
I miss you so much and I am hurting,
you are my Angel and I want to feel
and give you all of my deep comfort.
come wrap up in my arms and I'll give you
sweet sleepy kisses to give you such warmth.
Goodnight my darling I truly am so deeply
and intensely tired and I give you
sweet sleepy kisses to tell you I love you.
