Taken Away - Poem by David Kush

Somethings in life
Are given to us
Just to be taken away
A life, friend or a love
We don't understand why?
One thing for sure
Without having that thing
Even for a short time
Our lives would never be

    sometimes we lost to gain
    something of importance
only most of us are blind

The lessons can be very hard but what we gain from these can never be taken away from us. as cruel as they may be. Thank you (Report)Reply
