Rowving Smith

Taste Of Winter - Poem by Rowving Smith

Fluffy white crystals
Floating down
Playing in the breeze
All around us
You were chasing them
To make one land
Right on your tongue
So you can feel
How does it feel
To feel a snowflake
With your tongue
They hung like stars
On the black touque
Covering your head
They hung like jewels
On the black coat
You wore that night...

The snow....
tasted good...
At least those flakes you shared with me....!
