Tears I Can'T Cry - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Anyone can cry
fake, meaningless tears
the kind that come on quick
and disappear even faster

I can cry those tears
but it's the tears I can't cry
that are the most painful for me

The ones that start
at your beautiful memory
and stretch on past
your silent goodbye

The tears that won't fall
that won't be born in my eyes
They stay inside and drown
my heart instead

You are inside
every tear I can't cry
Every tear from your
silent goodbye
