Techie Life - Poem by Ruth Walters

His laptop screen is blank,
files lost to a dark void, a no-where land.
Documents floating in a sea of ‘Cloud'
that after life where files go to when they die.
So, if you've bothered to sign up,
who cares if your laptop broke, it's a joke!
Oh, you didn't! Then, I hope you
backed them up.
It's a strange old, weird old, techie life.

Ah, the mad crazy frustrating world of cyber-space. Better to have filed and lost than never to have filed at all... I think? (Report) Reply
