Tempting Waters - Poem by Michael Heraly

Twinkle, twinkle
There you are
Shining at the bottom of the pool
Sinking, sinking
In the dark
Breaking the trap and escaping the rule
Drifting, drifting
Lower still
Chasing one more chance to shout
Gasping, gasping
No need to kill
Just wait until the air runs out
