Terminology - Poem by Andy Brookes

Tapestry plays
soft in the back ground
Carole King at her best

past relived
unsatisfactory.
tinted sadness of
old tears
stain mental landscapes.

adolescent dreams
so crushed.

shattering
world ending
grave insecurities.

so serious.
now not enough.

hormonal rushes
scrambled the brain.

conflicted
tried so hard
to be normal
follow the norm.

realising that normal
only exists in parameters
of experience.
