That One Place - Poem by Michael Krutulis

Today is your day,

I never thought I would see this day,

As I pulled on my gray gloves,

We picked you up with much love,

With tears streaming down my face,

We carried you to that one place,

That one place I drive by and see your smile,

That one place I drive by and point to you for the whole mile,

That one place I stood and watch as you were laid to be,

That one place I know where you fight no pain and lay free,

That one place I go every week,

And talk to you as tear roll down my cheek.

In loving memory of John McNicholas
