That World Is Gone - Poem by Gaurav Tiwary

The colour colourless of the river,
That take what it gets like a clever.
Be it blue or be it green,
Oh! How pure, it always seem.
And when the water splash those rocks,
I never ever see my clock.
But when I look above, I always see;
The color green of the trees.
Oh! How could I ever cease,
The cool wind and the breeze
That take all of my pain away,
My numbness and my gray.
And when the sparrow grow old under the eaves
Then the colour yellow, of the leaves
Bring romance and take away grieves.
But as time elapse
And few months pass;
The colour brown of the leaves,
Bring sadness in the abyss.
But above them all is one thing
That stays same; come winter or spring.
That’s the colour blue of the sky,
which when get sad, even cry
but we never ever wipe its tear.
instead our kids get that fear
we close our door and all of the window
but we couldn’t run from our own shadow.

I was thinking all that, when……

Suddenly, my boy woke me
And I realized I was just being dreamy.
Actually it was all white
Outside the world of my sight
So I let my eyes close again
to see that lost world once again.

CODA: This is for all who lives in today
and want to give this world as bouquet
to the generation next
and simply could not reject
the responsibility they carry on their shoulder
towards the earth and mother nature.
