The Angel Comments

Rating: 3.2
I dreamt a dream! What can it mean?
And that I was a maiden Queen
Guarded by an Angel mild:
Witless woe was ne'er beguiled!

Hopefully she likes, or will tolerate grey hair, or does not discriminate against it.

Soon my Angel came again; I was armed, he came in vain; For the time of youth was fled, And grey hairs were on my head. William Blake

I found this poem because it was read to an AI computer by a Japanese (mad) scientist in that weird Netflix series called MANIAC. Series 1, episode 2 a little more than 29 minutes into the episode. And the computer, who has a female 'personality', actually seems to like the poem. I think it's OK, but I admire other works of Blake (far) more.

Just popped in to say Same here. I may like this poem more than you because I have more grey hairs. I suspect.

Peter Ackroyd hang your head in eternal shame for writing a biography, the genius of William Blake, to defame, you are less than dust beneath his feet, your lack of comprehension is quite complete, and will be quite forgotten and your essay long forgotten as Blake walkks mystically to eternity upon his exquisite metered feet.
