The Boy Who Dreamed To China Poem by R. Glenn Disney

The Boy Who Dreamed To China

Many years the tale's been old
Many times the tale's been told
Many folks have yearned to hear
'Bout the boy who dreamed to China

Just sit right back and take it ease
Think o'er land and think o'er seas
'Cause this is where the boy grew up
'Fore he dreamed to China

His grandpa told him one time
That earth was shaped like a lime
And if one could dig right straight down
He'd wind in China

At once the boy jumped up with glee
For this new land he craved to see
He grabbed his spade and started out
To make his way to China

He dug all day, he dug all night
He dug with strength and all his might
He dug 'till finally he fell asleep
And dreamed his way to China
