The Broken Vase

Rating: 4.0

I'm created with feeble bones to be weaker
Just as helper to one like you, ready for responsibility
You're created with more to be my lord;
Gifted with various coital expressions
To appease my heart...
Enough to freely give me to you
'nd turn your perpetual erotic balm
Aft'all that's one of the many roles
Divination charged me with -
Charged on me for you

This got to me, 'Why make me a victim of my divine role'. A brilliant and insightful piece coming at a time our world is gradually waking from her slumber of realising the evil of sexual molestation or rape especially against women. It should be condemned by all and those culpable should be brought to the temple of Justice. Nicely penned.

The poem enunciates pains and sufferings inflicted on the victim with the use of appropriate imagery and rhetorical question.
