The Brook Comments

Rating: 3.6
I come from haunts of coot and hern,
I make a sudden sally
And sparkle out among the fern,
To bicker down a valley.

I am fortunate to have read this lovely poem and was inspired to do its Hindi translation which I will post in a shot while. This is my tribute to the immortal poet Lord Tennyson.

A great piece of poetry which has enchanted me since I was a 6th grader. It reminds me of nature and God: " But I go on forever."

A brilliant poem which reminds our journey similar to the journey of the brook which goes thru the nature's beauty and finally to meet the ultimate but it remains in form and shape whereas we lose our body and shape.

I usually feel a great poem like this, and so I understand why he was so loved by the fellow person, UK and London people.Because many tears have fallen through my face reading his words, and we crave for more of that unique among unique, each with its scent, no much to say except bent.

This poem reminds me of my school days. So many books to carry and read. An innocence yet mischievous soul that had to face all odds with so much vigour and vitality like the brook has carried all sort of detritus along its path.
