The Creature Calling My Name - Poem by Christina Viera

When the stars are shining
And the moon is bright
A creature with two legs comes out at night
This creature comes out to feast upon love
This creature to you may not be as sweet as a dove

But to me he is part of the elite
He holds my soul with his hands
And he can squeeze it as hard as he can
But he will not for he feels the same
To him I am the creature calling his name
