The Cross Poem by james watkin

The Cross

In Time's midst there it stands
Heaven and Hell betwixt.
Love with its outstretched arms
Unto this reef affixed.

What shipwrecked lives first see
Caught in whirlpools of grief.
Out of five wounds do blaze
Its beacon light's relief.
