The Difference Between Infinity And Eternity - Poem by Zara Jamshed

Infinity and Eternity are really quite different things.
Infinity is possibility
The idea or concept to stretch something so great, time and matter no longer are relevant
Nothing proven, just a guess or a chance
A thought or a vision that distorts concepts of reality
The notion that something can never end despite time, gravity, and death
And death is the most important of all
Eternity is a lifetime and beyond
A tormenting truth that we despise to admit that is true
Something that will always occur, no matter what scenery or time you’re in such as
And space is the most important of all
Space is concept that defies both infinity and eternity
Whether boundaries exist is uncertain
Space is concept that only be described as unknown
The problem with humans is we never like to admit we are wrong
And to say that space lasts forever
Is entirely inaccurate
As such words are not alike
Space is a place where no words can be uttered, no breath released, no thought mentioned
Space is only described as unknown
So when you’re pondering and questioning reality
Remember these firm definitions, not the ones you were raised to hear
Dictionaries will only give you a drained, cold answer
One that has never been proven, but a little taste to satisfy those who seek the truth
I tell here and I tell you now
That infinity and eternity do not both mean forever.
