The Dreams I Will Reach Poem by Donna Oliver

The Dreams I Will Reach

Don’t tell me how to live my life
Don’t bother
Don’t try
I could solve world hunger
I could reach great heights
Or I could crawl and hide
From the labor of every-day life
But whatever I’ll do,
I’ll do it for me.
I don’t need anyone else
They don’t need to see
The world which I live
The life I dream
Those dreams I will reach
Those dreams brought to reality
Not by you,
But by ME.
