The Girl Of My Dreams - Poem by John Dough

I've had alot of dreams
this one stands out
im with a girl
looks like i took her out
we're sittin down conversating
i made her smile
she made me do the same
i hardley ever smile
she's better than beautiful
this girl just glows
she's the one for me
my heart just knows
im gazing in her eyes
how long will it last
now im trapped in her eyes
but i spoke to fast

i wake up wishing
it was just a little bit longer
dreams like that
make my hope a little stronger
the truth is that
we had never even spoke
a girl as beautiful as you
a guy doesn't know how to approach
it was harder for me
she was in the 12th grade
and i was young
i was only in the 10th grade
i would see her in the hallways
she always passed me by
if i saw her with somebody
i would wished i was that guy
ill talk to her today
ill talk to her tomorrow
the days added up
soon there was no tommorrow
the school year ended
it left my heart broken
if i made her my girl
her heart would never be broken
i could have said 'hello'
i should have just spoken
now i had this dream
i just wish that we had spoken
all i ever wanted
was just her to hold
but now its too late
too bad i wasn't bold..
