The Great Darkness

Rating: 4.0
Dying of the light will not tremble my soul
Quake the heart, moist the eyes with tears
For I shall embrace with love and acceptance
The great engulfing darkness when it comes
Without fear or dread of what lies beyond.
There was a man from Galilee who walked on water
And was crucified for the children of Adam
He was the Son of God and promised
We shall never die if we believe in him.
I will join him in Heaven with the angels
And the dying of the light will be a new beginning
Soul never to be held grave deep and alone
But will soar with angels in radiance and joy
Glorifying Almighty God, creator, and eternal love.
