The Guide To Life - Poem by Ruth Porter

Pain, Cut, Misery
This is what they call reality

Tears of joy, laughs & smiles
The road of life is full of miles

You begin with birth
And end buried deep within the Earth

A guide is what you need
If in this life you plan to succeed

Take a few close friends
It's guaranteed that they'll help to mend

Add some bravery too
You'll conquer fear and get on through

Bring Integrity
To help become what you want to be

Share some love and be kind
And many friends you will soon find

Show you are unique
That you are ecxquisite and not bleak

Remember this is life
And you should really put down that knife...
