The Hoodie Poem by Maggie C Donnelly

The Hoodie

Hoodies, dark and shadowed
A language of their own
Group evolving confidence
Dependency unknown

A movement of all parts
Beings with no limit
Feral is its badge
Confidence brims within it

With authority on trail
The thrill is hard to beat
Induced by lack of love they say
Let's mark this social beast

A game of blame evolves
Born out of common rage
What shall we do? Who's fault is this?
The press cry from their page
