The Image Of Her Face - Poem by Zoe SEM

The image of her face
Hidden in such rage
I know not her gentle touch
Nor the teardrops in her cage

A whimper soft as rain
Escapes the creaking floor
I wish not to feel the touch
From the woman I adore

In life I hear the beat
The raging of her heart
I hum the gentle tune
Even now that we’re apart
