The Journey - Poem by Jeffrey McFall

There are many ways to travel the Journey...

Do not be still...for you will never move forward and the world will leave you behind...

Do not crawl...for your journey will be slow and painful...

Do not run...for you will tire quickly...

Do not fly...for you will become lost and lose sight of things most important...

Walk....

Walk with God...for He is always with you...

Walk with compassion...for we are our brothers and sisters and should watch over each other...

Walk with humility...for when you allow yourself to be humble you praise God...not yourself...

Walk with endurance...for you cannot achieve what you wish to accomplish if you do not have the will to keep moving...

Walk with hope...for your dreams will fade if you do not...

Walk with love...for it is the greatest thing God has given us...

Walk with confidence...for you cannot lead if you do not believe in yourself first...

Walk with peace...for anger only clouds your judgment...

Walk with others...for this journey is not meant to be taken alone...

Walk with understanding...for there is not one on this Earth that has not made mistakes...

Walk with joy...for this journey is a gift and what we call life...do not waste it...

Walk...until you can no longer walk...

until you have pushed yourself as far as you possibly can go...

until you have allowed yourself to love and be loved...

until you have gained the wisdom you seek...

until you have accomplished everything you have ever dreamed...

until your journey is complete...

Then rest...
