The Joy Poem by Nicholas Mulago

The Joy

Rating: 5.0

When a rose reigns this day,
I know we'll rise and the love will stay.
Beams now glitter and glimmer so red
When my heart without you is dead.

From afar you remain the star
My heart a forlorn of you dear
Drowning in this love awe
When mind and soul wander to land on you

Darkest of nights is your awayness,
Lonely, I mis your love and goodness.
Brightest of days are those beside you,
In your custody meant for few.

Your voice will always remain near my ear,
And awake me from sorrow when Valentine is here.
Behold the power of red roses,
That bring back the moments in many an evenings.

Behold the joy in you Jolly,
You who enslave me in the land of the happy,
You who enmesh my mind in a smile,
To keep you in my heart each stride and mile.
