Bill Cantrell ...

The Last Brick

Goodbye yellow brick road,
As the lines of poetry rhymes
The limelight glows in her eyes
At the end of the road we all die
Excuse me as I dig my own grave,
As I remove your brand of a slave
Such a sweet sweet taste of release,
To finally lay down in peace
