just one more line
one more to go
the words slip out of reach
lost in the fog

one more line
just one last one
then it is finished
the words flowing on the page
without thinking they came
now it is done

this was my last
the final one
i said one more line
one more indeed

the pen slips through cold fingers
blood flowing freely
the last line is finished
and now its time to leave

no one will notice
that a life has been taken
taken to the devil
taken by the blade
