The Life I Gave Away - Poem by Tabbitha Sloan

Good times not many bad,
The loves that I let pass by,
those were true loves I had.

And all for what?
For this I see,
this thing laying beside me,
claiming he wants us to be.

What a bunch of crap!
He really don't care,
As he sees me sitting here.
With nothing but a cold heart,
and a blank stare.

Forget you, you Dirt Bag,
you think that you won?
You keep thinking that way,
that is till I grab for a gun!
