The Lumpish Man - Poem by Maddy Jones

You lumpish man,
You're jolly & merry,
You're still happy,
Despite what you carry,

You wear a derby,
Atop your head,
Briefcase in hand,
And too well-fed,

Hearty chuckles,
So big & booming,
And a walk-of-waddle,
From lard, assuming,

A forewarning to be made,
About this guy,
Charming are his words,
But lies, all lies!

Keep a close watch,
On that lumpish man,
For he can swindle,
With a clever scam.
