The Memory - Poem by Marthe Claude

Hey little girl
Please stop crying

Enjoy this moment
For there will be none like it

Remember the colorful leaves falling
The sun shining a little too bright
That kid pulling on your hair

Remember that lady wiping away your tears
The one with long black and blue hair
With eyes that always change
With a face that's never the same

Remember the smile you wore
Wider than the ocean
Pretty and warm, fulfilling and welcoming

Enjoy the moment for you will lose it
