I like the reference to Elena's dead husband slipping into her dress, three years ago, then you and she at that same restaurant, where the paella in its paucity, evokes memories of what used to be Buenos Aires before Elena covers her mouth of her shot husband slumping against her. Whether it is tongues or lips which have been cut out, a terrible price was paid for " this particular silence."
