The Night Poem by David Blake

The Night

So very soft and sweet, her tear
drops fail like the gentle rain.
I held her there in loves longing embrace,
and we danced and swayed like
wildflowers blown carelessly by the breeze.

Her kisses filled with something more
than mire desire, she gazed up at me and smiled.
In a wispy dream like way I remember her
standing there for awhile, before she spoke the
words, that someday would make my life complete.
