The Night I Said I Loved You - Poem by Tania Thomas

The night i said i loved you
We were in you're sister's car
We looked in each other's eyes
and for that moment we were one
You're eyes told me that you loved me too

Now that the night is over
and the moon has met his slumber,
I awaken to the lonely bed and baron home
I start to cry because the night i told you i loved you,
You left me out to dry
I believed in my dreams, you took them away
And now my life has packed its bags and went with you too
