The Note - Poem by Lindsey Fowler

i slowly sit down in my chair
a note i have to write
to wish good luck
to all my friends
its time to say goodbye
there is no explination
other then i'm sad
I wish i had a reason
plesae do not be mad
mom i know you lovedme
and dad i know you tried
but promise me this one thing
at my funeral you wont cry
be happy for me please
i am no longer sad
no more fears of a disease
and no more pain will i have
i want you to know
your time it wasnt wasted
you touched me very deeply
so a fake smile i pasted
but now i must go
so long for good
we might meet up again
but i'm not so sure we should
