I am! I'm really excited, it's gonna be my first time in Europe and my first time in WSC (I'm replacing a classmate in my friends' team, they have much more experience in WSC, so I'm pretty scared.) .

The writer is saying the octopus' limbs all act like different creatures. If the writer were an octopus he would call himself " Us" instead of " Me." That's the plain, superficial version.

Why is WSC making me analyze this with theories? ? ? It is painful. But I have an idea; " If I were thou, I'd call me Us." Is the narrator technically referring to his/her many arms and legs if he/she were an octopus? And why 'us', which is such a word of inclusiveness used for humans? Is this poem about teamwork? *cries* I'll just go do my research.
