The Old Halloween Witch Poem by Gloria M. Poyer

The Old Halloween Witch

Rating: 2.0

Once there was an old Halloween Witch and
She lived in a great big ditch.
She had beautiful green eyes
That twinkled like stars in the sky.
She was old and mean, but
She could cook up a kettle of stew that
Sometimes tasted like homemade hew
She carried an old broom but
She was smart enough to get
herself a nice groom.
She wore a big old buckled hat, but
She was slender and not fat.
Her face was old and worn and
Her old shirt was all torn
I suppose someday she will be all dressed up and
Gone in a great big huff.
