The Old You Poem by Fatima Zehra

The Old You

Please don't call me "Mithi"
And all these words are meaningless
I'm feeling vulnerable
The signs you sense are pointless
The truth is you don't seem to be here
Your intellectual self is taking you away
From this season, from me, and from this life
Your this verified version is pathetic
I miss the old you; you're not the same one.
