The Owl (Haiku) Poem by Ben Gieske

The Owl (Haiku)

Rating: 2.8

around the farm pond
no one wonders more except
one bird in the tree

stepping out the door
looking at the crescent moon
it asks me my name

ever watchful guard
never lets one pass without
asking the question

where path and woods meet
I give my password name to
one bird in the tree
