The Poorest People Poem by Ibnu Din Assingkiri

The Poorest People

Opportunities are available
depending on fate and hard work
people have been successful
became too proud of this world

Sleeping on mattress of money
dreaming luxury dreams
overbought Italian clothes
sacks of branded shoes

Saving abundant
germinate property
yet still added
to proud for

Among sincere charity
Should it be contended?
cheap publicity philanthropist,
rigid, even God angry

Would you, when you die
lay in coffin with money
along with the right of your brother
and meet the Lord
as one of the poorest people
