The Riverside - Poem by Ajinkya Raut

Yesterday, I had been there
your favorite place
our favorite place
The riverside.

Unlike always
you weren't there
with me, yesterday
But the river flowed as ever.

I had been there
to forget you,
The pain gifted by you.
But, nothing helped
water reflected
Me & You
like ever before.
