    Anagram on Rose is Sore
    You, Robert are a bore
    And always a bore
    Your work is so raw
    Its words are a chore
    I wish it meant more
    And it wasn't a chore
But a bore is a bore
    And will be evermore

Frost the versifier is an excellent filter, defining those who admire his works as people who need to migrate to real poets, starting with Blake and even Emily Dickinson; he was a privileged person who knew how to write trite nursery rhymes for adults. It is amazing how the lowest common denominator floats to the top of popularity on this site.

Well Robert is not a bore really, but you are really funny.

I say the poem's about inner beauty, where everything is as beautiful as a rose on the inside. (Report) Reply

Indeed, only Frost has such lightness of touch. He makes the rest of us seem heavy-handed. (Report) Reply
