The salāh and the righteous deeds,
Both lead to supreme bliss,
Their end goal is one,
They are the means to obtain the end:
The supreme bliss,
Both are necessary acts...
...of a true devotee of God,
One must not be undertaken to the exclusion of the other,
ويل لكل المصلين
هم عن صلوتهم ساهون
Woe to those who pray,
But are unmindful of their prayers!
