The Secret To
Rating: ★5.0
Every day I see a girl.
Everything about her should shine
But darkness all around her swirls
Until it consumes her from behind
She has big, beautiful eyes
But the sadness within them
Sting my throat
Wondering how much she has cried
She has a beautiful, unique face
The kind you could find on a billboard
She could be the rage in every place
But someone has unplugged her cord
She’s waif-like and tall
As she towers above us
But has given that power to us all
For she has not figured out the oblivious
I’d love to see her head held high
As she puts out an alluring, confident vibe
To not wince as she lives a lie
Knowing her act is preventing her from achieving the sky
