The Severn Bridge
The link between two old enemies
The mighty Severn bridge,
Stands above the estuary
And by the Welsh ridge.
The view is awesome from it
Of England and Wales
Of rivers Severn and Wye
Of the many ships and their sails.
I have crossed it many times
But it never fails to amaze me
I feel like I am floating in the air
With just sky and water to see.
