The Sinner - Poem by Raphael Kueniemugh Karibo

Behind hillocks 'animals' hobble
Hobble in carelessness or in fact
Fact you knew, but dared the bible?
Bible, the way, the truth and the light

The skies of the defenceless
Citizens, you stained knowingly
Parents you killed, render' children hopeless
Is this the devil's race or heavenly?

Remember! You sleep at night!
What if breath fails you at dawn?
Will you again in foolishness fight?
No! On your feases you must lie on

There you will know roses are red
And good or bad deeds are read

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated, nicely encapsulated and penned with spiritual insight in poetic diction. A poem written with depth to remind humanity of the Day Of Reckoning. A beautiful poem with nice rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
