The Sociopath (1) Poem by Lenore Lee

The Sociopath (1)

Rating: 5.0

I sat alone today and wondered if I could still feel,
Inside my soul I believe nothing is truly real.
Alone once again and it doesn’t even cause me pain.
I try to remember how to have blind belief gained.

I can never start again,
But I wish I could do it today,
So I could find myself,
So I could find a way.

I wear a tiara of incredulity within my hair,
At the world I can only stare.
As time flies, my feelings fly away,
A part of me is glad they didn’t stay.

What have I become?
Without a friend,
They all left me in the end.
And I will gladly fall backwards into the dirt,
Because I have no one to disappoint.
I can never cry; I will not feel hurt.

I can feel your pain through this poem. A truly emotional masterpiece. Moving on to #2.
