The Star Of My Greatest Dream - Poem by Gyler Ann Granja

Walking under the bright moon
I know it wouldn't be so soon
To reach that shinning star
I know I wont gone too far

As I saw the lovely night sky
Where millions of diamonds lie
I wish to fly and touch
The clouds above so much

And I would stop by to stare
The beauty of the skies so fair
And in the constellations I'll walk
And remember our million talks

I know it would not take
A million steps to make
To reach my greatest dream
So at the top of my lungs, I'll scream

My loudest happiest cheers
To my love and my peers
Reaching for that star is a hard round
But I am determined even to toil the ground
So I can find even just a clue
Where I can find it in the wide sky so blue

It wouldn't be so soon
Until I reach my greatest dream
I know that in a decade or soon
At the top of my lungs, I'll scream
As like as the wolf under the moon...!
