The Teen Days Are Gone - Poem by Daniel Kuetsinya
I've seen the teen days
In me as it lead my ways
For its problem I can't measure
As barometer makes no treasure.
Now the teen days are gone
Leaving me in a new day born.
No need counting in teen
Like thirteen calls to nineteen.
I face the new decisive age
To administer and also manage.
My life into my hands
With my treasure unfolded bands.
Now I'm two a decade
Covered with evergreen shade
Which makes my life fruitful.
To God am I grateful.
