The Timbre - Poem by Karnail Singh Heirwale

THE TIMBRE

The timbre,
The tone,
The morals
The manners
Of the individual
Are out there
Beneath the thing veneer
Of civilazation
Laughter or melancholia
They go off
From end to end
You can see
The orgy of the nude
In a telephonic ring
Aletter
Mumbling alone
Or in a dream
In excitement
Yea the individual would retain the veneer.
