The Time Wont Go Any Faster - Poem by Edward Allan

The time wont go any faster
even though i rush you
the wounds need more than a plaster
'cos your too deep in me
the heat is always pushing me
and shade is always hard to find
down by the trees is where we always find ourselves
dont you look away
dont you feel you have to stray
and dont you kill the time away
can you learn to stay, and say
you dont have to run to him
but still you'll throw yourself at him
you wont take the blame for him
for yourself
