The Village Of Sadness Poem by Dezire Diaz

The Village Of Sadness

Rating: 5.0

once upon a time...
in a village far from yonder
were the wind howls at the moon
and the sun swirls around the clouds
and the rain falls like the leaves in the spring
where animals and people live together as one
and the children follow the demise river
there is little hope
others far and wide come to bring them bags full of fear
sorrow hides among the trees
memory fades like the shadow of a new moon
sadness is the only word they know
holidays are history
little... what they know
the tides of the ocean are still
birds struggle to fly
not even the most dangerous lion can protect it's young
all is lost
nothing is found
endless labyrinths
seeking...
nothing...

Excellent images of sadness in your storybook world. May the sun shine there eventually. Take care. Love, SandraX
